Heineken have informed us that several batches of Newcastle Brown Ale may contain traces of glass.
The affected stock has a best before date of 30.11.25 and one of the following batch numbers L4321, L4322, L4323, L4324, L4325, L4326.
We kindly request that you check your stock to identify any products matching these criteria and remove from sale immediately. Please store these bottles & cases in a safe location, away from your cellar or any area where they could accidentally be returned to sale. Clearly label them as “removed from sale”).
We are in the process of finalising a method for disposing of the stock as well as reimbursement for the cost. Further instructions will be provided shortly.
This image highlights the best before date and batch markings on bottles.
If you have stock on site that matches the criteria and was purchased from a third party, we recommend reaching out to them directly to confirm their process and guidance.
For the avoidance of doubt. All related stock has already been removed from warehouses in our distribution network.
